Billy Bailey
Born and bread in Scone, country NSW. Billy grew up surrounded by music, He was fortunate to be surrounded by a thriving music curriculum for a small town. Growing up as an orchestral percussionist, studying classical and jazz drumming at the upper hunter conservatorium of music, touring Europe as part of their marching band in 2010. Billy turned his focus to DJing at the age of 15.

Billy Bailey, AKA, Bad Boy Bill hails from the Hunter Valley, NSW. After starting as a DJ at 14, Billy made his first move as an artist 6 months after his 18th birthday. Moving to Queenstown, NZ with two technics 1200's under each arm, Billy sharpened his tools and honed his craft, quickly gaining notoriety as a force to be reckoned with playing Hip Hop and Bass music, holding residencies 6 nights per week for 2.5 years amongst the buzzing Queenstown nightlife. Working with Red Bull NZ and NZSki, Billy made moves and impressions every step of the way, opening for the likes of P. Money and Just Blaze before traveling to work and play in Hakuba, Japan. Hakuba's surprisingly lively hip hop scene gave Billy the opportunity to start Unjaune's Saturday night Hip Hop, A now staple of the Hakuba night life calendar each winter. May 2018 saw him settling in the Northern Rivers and allowed him to further push his gritty, grimy Hip Hop to the masses. Covid put a stop to B2B's PA and event Hire just as it started to grow from its infancy, But with the pandemic came new challenges and new ideas. With gigs shut down and more time to be creative on his hands, Billy's focus turned back to his musical roots, coming to fruition in production, mixing and mastering that he is known for now. With multiple mixing and mastering credits with EDM labels Australia wide and beyond.
He has never lost his love for DJ'ing though, Rooted in his love for crowd reading, entertaining and showing those present that turntables, scratching and showmanship still have a place in the modern club scene.
